LUBLIN
Se encuentra situada en las riveras del río Bystrzyca, en la ruta entre Varsovia y Cracovia. Se destaca por sus industrias del automóvil, de maquinaria agrícola. También es una región muy fertil. Cerca de Lublin está el campo de concentración nazi “Majdanek”, el cual funcionó entre 1941 y 1944. Este campo, a diferencia de Auschwitz, no fue destruido por los alemanes al abandonarlo. En Lublin son importantes los siguientes lugares de interés:
El nuevo Ayuntamiento (Gobierno de la Ciudad) y el antiguo ayuntamiento
Puerta Krakowska ( Museo de la Historia de la Ciudad de Lublin)
Puerta Grodzka
El castillo (Museo Lubelskie)
La catedral
La Torre Trynitarska (Museo de la Arquidosesis)
El palacio de los Czartoryski (familia de la aristocracia polaca muy influyente en los siglos XVIII y XIX
El palacio de los Lubomirski
Además, contiene hermosas iglesias y monumentos que hacen de Lublin una ciudad preciosa y digna de visitar.
